Bruce Willis, an American actor, Produce and Musician was born on 19th march, 1955 in West Germany. His actual name is Walter Bruce Willison. He is the oldest of the four Children of David Willis, an American Soldier and Marlene, a bank employee. His father was stationed in West Germany, after being discharged they returned to Carney’s point, New Jersey in 1957, where his father worked as a welder and a factory worker. He studied in Penn’s Grove High School and was nicknamed “Buck-Buck” and “Bruno” he was a nice kid with good sense of humor He was fascinated in Theatre and the Stage. Though he stuttered but he found it easy to express himself on the stage losing his stutter in the process After high school he found work and later returned to Montclair State University, New Jersey as a Drama student. After his second year he quit and left for New York City to become an Actor. In New York City, he bartended and waited at tables. His theatre debut was “Heaven and Earth” and then came “Foot for love”. In1984 he left New York for California and appeared in a lot of television roles. His major breakthrough was “Moonlighting” a television series. This show established him as a comedy actor.
His major role in films was in “Blind date” and “Die Hard”. These films catapulted him to Fame. In1980′s he recorded an album called “The return of Bruno”. This included the hit single “Respect Yourself”. Follow up recordings were not as successful. The film “Die Hard” was followed by “Die hard” 2.”Die harder” and “Diehard with a Vengeance” in 1995, all these films propelled Willis to the introductory rank of Hollywood stars. There was a slump in his career in 1990′s, which later revamped with movies like “Twelve monkeys” and “The fifth element”. There was another slump, which was saved by the success of the movie “Armageddon”. Then “The sixth sense” was released. In 2010 he appeared in a cameo with action stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film “The Expendables”. He has likewise appeared on “The late show with David Letterman”. His most recent film was “Red”, freed in October, an adaptation of the comic book miniseries of the same name. Wills married actress Demi Moore and had 3 daughters. Their marriage broke up after 13 years. He has remarried Emma Heming. He owns a motion picture production company called “Cheyenne enterprise”. He is likewise a co-founder of planet Hollywood with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.
